What is Leader?

Local commitment is the foundation

Leader is a method for rural development with local roots, initiative and commitment at its core. The idea is that development of the place you live in is best carried out by those of you who live and work there – by you, your association, local businesses and other organisations.

Future regions Dalsland, Årjäng & Munkedal

We believe in our communities as communities of the future, where we can live, reside and work sustainably today – and in the future. We will be at the forefront of new, smart and innovative solutions that turn our challenges into opportunities.

This is how it goes

Apply here

For the ongoing program period, the current status is all project funds for large projects are booked. If a return of funds occurs, or when a possible next program period begins, the website will be updated with information about this. Instructions on how a project application works remain available, to enable preparation for applying when new project funds are released. Until then, we currently refer to our mini-support, where project funds are still available to apply for. if you and your organization want to queue up in anticipation of a possible return of project funds, contact johannes@framtidsbygder.se.

Getting started

Do you have an idea? Test it here on the web or contact us and we'll see if it could become a leader project.

Writing an application

The next step is to write an application where you clearly describe the idea and what needs to be done. Of course, we are there to provide sound advice!
