Local flavor – local matter

A local collaboration between the public and private sectors shaped by Årjäng Municipality, aimed at promoting and developing local and sustainable food production. By increasing expertise in the area, the goal is to increase the number of local food producers. Clusters for the producers and a common seal will then act as a unifying force.

With the help of support from, among other things, Leader Future Regions, study trips are organized, training is provided, arenas for networking and learning are created, and sales places are identified, business opportunities are identified, and a common marketing framework is offered for participants in the project to benefit from.

Photos from the first study trip that took place on September 9, 2025, as part of the project. Visits to Njordtorp Permaculture Farm, Kulinarika, and a central walk in Arvika were on the agenda.
