\u00d6rekils\u00e4lven blev \u00e5r 2024 ett naturreservat p\u00e5 grund av sitt h\u00f6ga riksintresse och unika fauna. Atlantlax, \u00e5l, kungfiskare och andra fisk- och f\u00e5gelarter lecker och h\u00e4ckar i omr\u00e5det. Det har ocks\u00e5 en stor b\u00e4verpopulation. Ut\u00f6ver detta \u00e4r det \u00e4ven ett popul\u00e4rt friluftsomr\u00e5de.<\/p>\n

Munkedals kommun har p\u00e5 f\u00f6rfr\u00e5gan fr\u00e5n privatpersoner, lokala f\u00f6reningar och f\u00f6retagare velat utveckla den s\u00f6dra delen av \u00d6rekils\u00e4lven, f\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra den mer l\u00e4ttillg\u00e4nglig f\u00f6r kunskapsh\u00f6jande och fritidsrelaterade aktiviteter.<\/p>\n

Hur man b\u00e4st ska g\u00e5 tillv\u00e4ga f\u00f6r att uppn\u00e5 dessa \u00e4ndam\u00e5l har man nu unders\u00f6kt genom en f\u00f6rstudie, som har finansierats med hj\u00e4lp av st\u00f6d fr\u00e5n Leader Framtidsbygder.<\/p>\n
